The Quilter’s Magic Wand is an accurate ½” wide ruler with an etched line running down the middle. Use it for marking or measuring, especially for making half-square-triangles in conjunction with the .  Align the center line diagonally across your square - from point to point.  Draw two lines on each side of the wand - this will be exactly 1/4" from the center line.  Now you have two lines to follow when stitching with your Open Toe 1/4".  Once you have finished sewing the two lines, cut your square diagonally in half between the two stitching lines.  You now have two half square triangles.
